PDF dumps for OBIEE 11g Certification exam

I have compiled a list of PDFs that I used for preparing for certification exam. To download the same, follow the steps here:

1. Visit the Oracle documentation page:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-enterprise-edition/documentation/index.html

2. Click view library - This will open up HTML documentation, which is not very convinient to read, especially for offline reading, so we look for pdf documents.

3. Click Installation Guide - Stop - Once you see table of contents, on the top right side, click on 'PDF' and save a copy. Thats it, you got it.




4. Hit back, and repeat above steps for following documents:

Enterprise Deploymentet Guide
UserGuide
RPDGuide
AdminGuide

These are the 5 documents that I feel are most important to prepare for certification. There are no other dump files for certification, good luck.

    Unfortunately I do not have any sample question, I just took a chance and went for the exam.

    Hi Arun,

    Could you please let us know what kind of questions could appear?
    As in, the questions would be on concepts or practical application and scenarios?Also,it would be helpful if you let me know the difficulty level of this exam.

    Questions are on both areas, concepts as well as practical application. But you would not know which questions are scoring and which ones are not.

    Exam expects high level of skill and is not easy. But good news is that just 63% is passing score and not 80% to be certified.

      Hi Arun, i m new in bi and want to do the certification but i have a dout
      what does that mean ''But good news is that just 63% is passing score and not 80% to be certified.''
      If we are certified at 80% then why the passing is 63% ?
      So, what's the use of clearing the exam?

      You are certified at 63% and that is the passing score as well.

    Thanks for your reply. I am planning to take up the exam in the next 2 months.I do have a copy of Oracle business intelligence 11g Developers guide by Mark Rittman. I hope this helps.

      Hi Arun,the above link is probably a newer version of the Repository documentation guide.For certification will the below guide be sufficient as IZ0-591 is based on 11.1.1.5?

      point release do not make any difference. Oracle is not going to ask a question very specific to a point release, it does not help any one - consultants, oracle company or their customers.

      I personally did not read it, and i relied on my experience. I guess you need it if you have never worked on it.

    Hi Arun,

    I just wanted to know if experience with OBIEE is essential before taking this exam. I am a fresh grad with no experience in BI. But I would like to pursue this career path.

    I think for certification, some practical experience is essential. But to start a career in OBIEE, its not!
